Ind. Mom and 3 Kids Found Dead in Home, Police Say No Threat to Public

An Indiana community is reeling after three children — all under the age of 10 — were found dead with their mother earlier this week.

Investigators have not released information on the cause and nature of the deaths. A State Police representative confirmed to PEOPLE that their investigation suggests there’s no further threat to the public.

The children’s father has set up aGoFundMeto assist with funeral costs. In his post, Jonathan Newell shared a photo of the kids holding Father’s Day cards as they posed for the camera.

“These kids deserve so much more than I can provide for their burials,” Jonathan wrote in the fundraiser, which garnered more than $36,000 in one day.
