Jake Shaneis ready to dance at the “Pink Pony Club” this Halloween!

The 24-year-old TikTok creator transformed intoChappell Roanfor the return of hisTherapusspodcast. For the special Halloween episode, Shane stunned in a hot pink ensemble, complete with accessories and makeup done in Roan’s iconic style.

However, Shane wasn’t the only pop princess present. YouTube star and comedianBenito Skinneralso took his Halloween costume seriously and transformed intoSabrina Carpenterwhile his boyfriend Terrence O’Conner completed the trifecta and dressed up asCharli xcx.

Shane took toInstagramto share photos of the three of them in costume, revealing it was his “first time in drag” before thanking Skinner and O’Conner “for letting me be a part of this.” He also thanked the pop princesses who inspired their look, writing, “thank you to Chappell, Sabrina, and Charli for saving 2024.”

Shane later posted a second Instagram post with a behind-the-scenes peek of him in the makeup and a comment that read, “what this episode taught me is that the modern day Powerpuff Girls are just three gayScorpioqueens with OCD.”

For thepodcast’s Halloween special, Shane revealed that he felt “vulnerable” in his costume since it was his first time dressing in drag. “There was a photo of me [from] sixth grade [when] I dressed up asI Love Lucyand that was the closest I ever got,” he said. “This [costume] feels similar.”

Later in the episode, Skinner praised Shane for speaking out about his OCD diagnosis and said it made him feel “so much better” about his own diagnosis.

“I’ve talked about intrusive thoughts on [my own] podcast before, but I just feel like we don’t talk about it enough,” Skinner told Shane. “And seeing you talk about it [so openly] is amazing.”

Skinner opened up more about his own OCD diagnosis and shared that he struggles with “a lot of intrusive thoughts which are really hard to describe to people” as well as “intense perfectionism.”

“I get so hyper-fixated [that] it makes me lazy,” he explained. “I feel almost like completely stuck in my body and just like filled with sheer terror because my pants don’t fit right.”

Shane previously opened up about how his “hyperfixation on pop stars” helped him find comfort through his OCD diagnosis inHighsnobietyback in May.

Shane explained that for him, “something about female pop stars made the world go quiet. My OCD wasn’t fixed, and the intrusive thoughts remained the same, but falling into the world of pop stars gave me the confidence to address these issues head-on.”

Skinner also opened up about his upcoming Prime Video comedy seriesOvercompensating,which also stars Adam DiMarco, Connie Britton,Kaia Gerberand Charli xcx as a guest star.

“I play a version of myself in the closet,” he explained. “This show is about me playing football in high school and then not doing it in college and kind of trying to…the OCD thing of trying to be perfect, and I thought ‘perfect’ meant ‘straight.’ So I would do anything to remain in the closet … and then I just kind of ran out of ideas because I fell in love with a guy.”

He also spoke about the “unbelievable” experience working with the cast, noting he was so “inspired” working closely with them.

“I was disassociating [on set] because I would be like, ‘I wrote this scene four and half years ago and now I’m seeing an actor that I have respected my whole life doing it, and I’m kind of me but not really me and Mary Beth kind of looks like my sister but it’s not really her.’”
