Jana Kramer Took Down Video of Daughter Jolie, 8, After Commenters 'Sexualized' Her Outfit: 'I Forget How Sick This World Is'

The country singer, 40, shared a few screenshots onher Instagram Storiesas she explained why she took down a recent video of her daughter Jolie, 8, dancing around at home. Although the mom of three said she ended up redoing the video, she explained that Jolie wanted to know why the original had to come down in the first place.

“Jolie asked to see [the] original this morning and I told her I took it down after some convos,” Kramer began. “She was sad, I explained why, and I said we can redo…and she said yay!”

“I’m being honest, I didn’t even see the issue at first with the original…I forget how sick this world is and how sexualized kids are,” Kramer continued on the next slide. “Jolie came down the stairs that morning in her sports bra and said, ‘Alright momma I’m ready to work out.'”

The star said that although she wouldn’t normally let her daughter hang around a public area in a sports bra, the video was filmed at home and she didn’t think about the fact that it would be posted to her public profile.

Kramer said that she loves to share her family online and understands the risks of it, but can see how she can do better at times to protect her kids.

“Again I had no clue just how far these sickos go. Sad honestly that’s where the world is at,” Kramer said.

Kramer shares daughter Jolie and son Jace, 5, with ex Mike Caussin. She also shares son Roman, 10 months, with husband Allan Russell.

On an April episode of her podcast,Whine Down with Jana Kramer, the mom of three shared that her daughterasked her if it was all rightif she didn’t likeTaylor Swift, 34.

“She was at a birthday party, and she’s like, ‘Mom, is it OK that I don’t like Taylor Swift?’ And I was like, ‘This is so crazy because we’ve never had this conversation,’ " Kramer recalled.

“I go, ‘Honey, 1000%, you can like whoever you want.’ I was like, ‘It’s just because she’s super famous, you know, and everyone loves her does not mean that you have to love her too,’ " she continued.

“Just [like] the Beatles. It’s like, you don’t have to like that,” she continued. “And sometimes, I didn’t like the Beatles because everyone loved the Beatles. So I’ve always kinda go opposite.”
