Jason Momoa Details His Barbra Streisand Love During the Holidays: 'Christmas Doesn't Start Until Barbra Sings' (Exclusive)

“Every year, Christmas doesn’t start until Barbra sings it,” Momoa — who recently partnered withMonopoly Go!— says. “I’m a huge fan.”

“My mom used to play me Barbra Streisand, her Christmas album, and so I put that on repeat,” he adds, referring to Streisand’s 1967A Christmas Album.“That’s our go-to, me and my mom.”

Detailing that he is excited about the upcoming holiday season, Momoa says he especially loves the festive foods served.

“For me, it’s pumpkin pie and sweet potato pie,” he says of some favorites. “So that’s the first thing that’s happening on Thanksgiving.”

As for Christmas, Momoa explains that he loves getting to go outdoors and take in the chilly weather.

“I’m pretty excited to be playing in the snow,” he says. “I will throw some snowballs, get some snowboarding in.”

Momoa says he is a big fan of the snow despite being born in a warmer and more tropical climate.

“I was born in Hawaii and raised in Iowa, so I think if I was just in Hawaii, I wouldn’t experience this [feeling],” he says.

“I got to have snow, man,” Momoa continues, further detailing that he plans to spend the winter holiday season this year with his two kids: sonNakoa-Wolfand his daughter,Lola— both of whom he shares with ex-wifeLisa Bonet.

“I’ll be getting my mom out to Montana and my babies and some of their friends. We’re going to go snowmobiling,” the father of two tells PEOPLE. “My son’s got it down pretty good, so I’ll just be teaching my daughter a little bit more.”
