Arjona, 32, shared a series of photos of herself in Italy toInstagramon Thursday, Oct. 3, to which Momoa, 45, left a series of heart emojis in a comment. “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍,” he wrote in response to Arjona’s photos.

Momoa and Arjona, who recently starred inHit ManandBlink Twice, went public with their relationship in the spring. On May 20, Momoa shared photos of Arjona to Instagram while posting about a trip to Japan andreferred to her as “mi amor"in a caption. The pair appear to have met when they costarred in the 2021Netflix filmSweet Girl.

TheAquamanactor had previously confirmed he was “very much in a relationship” during a May 11 Comic Con festival appearance England, telling a fan who asked about his relationship status, “You’ll find out very soon,” pervideo of the event shared on Xat the time.

After Momoa made his relationship with Arjona public, a source told PEOPLE that thecouple’s connection was “genuine"and emphasized that Momoa “cares about her.”

“She’s good to him — and a lovely and genuine person and real like he is,” the source said at that time. “She has a good sense of humor and is easy to be with. They relate to each other.”

Though Momoa and Arjona have not yet made their red carpet debut as a couple, a source told PEOPLE on the actor’s birthday Aug. 1 that he “spends a lot of time with” Arjona. “She makes him happy. She’s very adventurous and down-to-earth as well,” the source said at that time. “They love the outdoors and enjoy motorcycle rides.”
