Jason Momoaisn’t afraid to go head-to-head with his younger child.
In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE about his partnership withMonopoly Go!, the actor, 45, opens up about taking part in friendly competitions with his son,Nakoa-Wolf, 15.
“I find myself not competitive at all, until it gets into it. There are a couple of board games and card games that get me going with my kids,” Momoa says, referencing Nakoa-Wolf and his daughter,Lola— both of whom he shares with ex-wifeLisa Bonet.
“But for a while now, my son’s been really beating me, and he loves just rubbing it in my face,” theChief of Warstar continues. “So I am and I’m not [competitive], but with my son, he gets me good and he is always beating me.”
“I don’t do the sore of loser thing … and otherwise, I don’t mind getting my butt kicked, … but me and my boy, we lock horns,” adds Momoa.

Momoa and Bonet, 57, welcomed daughter Lola in July 2007 and then son Nakoa-Wolf a year later in December 2008.
TheGame of Thronesalum, who is Hawaiian, wanted to honor his roots when choosing his kids' names. Lola’s middle name, Iolani, means “royal hawk” while Nakoa means “warrior.”

Now that his kids are both teenagers, Momoa says he enjoys bonding with them when they spend quality time together, and he is especially looking forward to hanging with them around the holiday season this year.
“I’ll be getting my mom out to Montana and my babies, and some of their friends. We’re going to go snowmobiling,” the father of two says. “My son’s got it down pretty good, so I’ll just be teaching my daughter a little bit more.”

Momoa’s love of gaming is at the forefront of his latest partnership with Monopoly Go!, the most successful mobile game launch of all time, as it kicks off its first-ever global campaign.
“The cool thing about Monopoly Go! is that it’s friends, it’s family,” Momoa tells PEOPLE. “I grew up with my mom playing Monopoly as a kid, so it’s cool that I can now be [abroad] and my mom and I can be playing together.”
“And then,” theAquamanstar adds with a laugh, “we can get the family together from all over the world and charge my mom rent.”
Plus, Momoa adds that it was “a dream come true” to collaborate with Pratt, 45, Palmer, 31, and Ferrell, 57, for the new creative spot. “I was brought onto it as the last person, and I think I was the one that brought in the most fun and craziness,” he jokes.
