Jenna Bush Hager Shares the Secret to How Son Hal Is Always 'Styling for Free'

Jenna Bush Hagerhas revealed where her son gets his sense of style.

On the Wednesday, Aug. 21 episode ofThe Today Show, the co-host, 42, shared her secrets as to how her sonHal, 5, whom she shares with husbandHenry Hager, gets his “styling” wardrobe for free.

“I love a hand-me-down,” the mom of three admits, joking that “Hand-me-down’s a weird word.”

“I have a friend who is an over-shopper and I will not say her name on television,” she explained, “But her son is a few years older than Hal, and every two months I received a package in the mail for Hal.”

Bush Hager even shared that Hal “rarely” gets new clothing, but she assured viewers that it doesn’t deter him from “styling.”

“Hal has very rarely worn something new,” she says. “That man is styling — Styling for free!”

“He was like, ‘That’s so much better thanallthe presents!’ " she recalled her son saying. “I think he’s particularly thrilled that he’s going to have a little dude to hang out with.”
