Jennie Garthhas been struggling to maintain her fitness routine — explaining that a mix of work, body pain, and menopause have presented new challenges.

TheBeverly Hills, 90210alum shared anInstagram montageof her intense workout — alongside a candid caption: “I’m going to be real honest with you … I’ve been struggling with working out recently. my travel and work schedule, my body pain, not to mention menopause is a daily minefield, both physically & mentally.”

Garth, 52, openly discussed her menopause journey on the most recent episodeof her podcast, calling it “a massive cyclone that comes into your life and just does all kinds of destruction.”

In her recent post she wrote, “ I forget that there’s so much happening inside me, causing so many changes, that of course I’m not always gonna feel or be able to perform how I’d like to (or expect to). I have to remind myself to give myself some grace! I’m doing the best I can & that makes me feel a little better.”

The actress — who began working with atrainer after being diagnosedwith osteoarthritis at age 45 — has told PEOPLE “I just keep working those joints out, I keep using those joints so that there’s no sedentary time for the arthritis to creep in anywhere I don’t want it."

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis, according to theMayo Clinic. It occurs when the “protective cartilage that cushions the ends of the bones wears down over time. It can cause pain, stiffness, and swelling, among other symptoms that limit movement."

Although the video was set toShania Twain’sempowering anthem,“Man! I Feel Like a Woman,”Garth made faces at the camera as she struggled through her workout routine.

She made sure to thank her trainer, Jason Cohen fromJason Alive Fitness, “for always pushing me just enough & for your patience & understating of my beautiful, hard working body. 💪🏻❤️”

The actresspreviously sharedthat she had to take a break from the gym in January after being sick for two weeks.

“After taking this time to let my body rest it’s even more challenging to even go to the gym, let alone make it thru a normal workout,” Garth wrote at the time.

She ended her intimate post with a callout for her fans, asking for advice.
