Jennifer Aniston’s Ultra-Long Lashes at the Emmys Were All Natural — Thanks to These 2 Mascaras

From her glittery gown, to her side-swept locks, and megawatt smile, there was much to admire, but we couldn’t take our eyes off her long lashes, which were so voluminous we assumed they were extensions. But, to our surprise, they were the product of using two mascaras from the designer brand.

To give her that bombshell look, makeup artistAngela Levinused three coats of theChanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascaraon her top lashes, plusChanel Inimitable Mascaraon her bottom lashes, the former of which was also used onBrie Larsonand Naomi Watts for the award show, per a press release. The reason for two separate products? “This allowed for the light to show the sparkle of her eyes,” Levin told PEOPLE exclusively.

Pro tip: Warm up your fingers and give your lashes a delicate press upwards. Why? This is what Levin did, and as a result, “the mascara warmed and melted just a bit, allowing for the curl to really be locked in,” she said.

The volumizing mascara comes in three colors, including Noir, the black shade Levin used on Aniston, as well as a pretty blue color, which would complement brown eyes. A third shade, Écorces, is currently sold out.

The $40 price tag is more than we’d typically pay for mascara, but it’s definitely more wallet-friendly than getting lash extensions and less challenging than gluing on store-bought falsies.

Chanel Inimitable Mascara

The second mascara used on Aniston was the Chanel Inimitable Mascara in Noir Brun, a dark brown shade. Not only does this mascara add thickness, but it also helps keep each lash separate from one another, so there’s no clumps or sticking together.
