Oh, justJennifer Lopezcoming to my rescue with a characteristicallyKim Possible’fitthat’s a great last-minute Halloween costume, but an even better weekday look post-holiday. TheHustlersactress wore a$59 boatneck topin black, which is now sold out, and is from Intimissimi,a brand she’s worked with before. It’s also the same top Hailey Bieber layered under a leopard coat duringa recent outingwith her husband, Justin Bieber.

Lopez made the look more 2024-appropriate with green — beige — er, greige —baggy bottomsthat didn’t taper down into an elastic jogger situation (butshe’s actually rallying around those, too). She also carried a larger handheld bag that looked like it could be from Hermès, instead ofthe crossbody stylesshe’s recently had on her arm.

The brand previously sent me J.Lo’s exact top to try, and it is razor-thin, which has its pros and cons. It’s so useful for sweat-free wear under tops and jackets, but it’s a little too sheer, as I don’t like for my bra to show through. (You can toss a tank top on underneath for added coverage.)

I will, though, give major props to boat neck shirts. The neckline is so flattering — I’ve yet to see someone who hasn’t pulled one off — and looks so elegant even Meghan Markleopted for the style for her 2018 weddingto Prince Harry.

All that considered, I’m highly interested in this$16 Amazon Essentials pickthat doesn’t have full sleeves, so it, too, will be stealthy for layering. Or, I might nab thisSpanx top, which ispart of the collection Oprah once raved about.

Baggy straight-leg and traditional wide-leg pant styles will always hit the mark — so long as they’re not constraining. Luckily, these pants “don’t dig in” and, bonus, “the fabric [doesn’t] wrinkle hardly at all,”wrote one shopper. They’re available in sizes XXS to XXL, which fit U.S. sizes 0-26, and run true-to-size, according to the brand.

I can confidently say that I cannot afford a Birkin — this Kate Spade satchel is a little more reasonable. It comes in black and three other earthy tones that match the color of the falling leaves at this time of year. The two handles capture the look of Lopez’s bag, but the optional crossbody strap is conducive for upcoming holiday travel.
