Jordyn Blum, wife ofFoo FightersfrontmanDave Grohl, is picking up the pieces.

In September, Grohl, 55, revealed that he hadwelcomed a child outside their 21-year marriage. Now, “Jordyn is focused on her own life and her girls," a source tells PEOPLE of Blum, 48, who shares three daughters with Grohl, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

Blum and a rep for Grohl did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment

Like Blum, Grohl was recentlyspottedsans his wedding ring when he stepped out to run errands in L.A.’s Encino neighborhood on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote in his statement.
