And I know he was very honored, and felt very respectful about all of it, and just was eager to learn and eager to jump in and do what he did best.”

To keep her dad’s legacy alive, Karsen says she’s “talking about him all the time.”

As for the 2024 release of Ray’s film1992, Karsen calls it “an incredible piece of history.”
