Kate Hudson Carried a Little Clutch That's a Dressier Alternative to Crossbody Bags for Fall Weddings

Something BorrowedfromKate Hudson? Yeah, her fancy clutch. Or at the very least, one that looks just like it.

Amidst her manysummer travels, the 45-year-old actress recently posted eleven different photos on Instagram from her time in the South of France. Though the main focus of the snaps was her shimmering YSL gown, which she gushed about in her caption, her handheld clutch was the polished underdog that certainly deserves more credit where due.

Totally different from herroomy crossbody bag, which adorably allowed her to go hands-free to hold hands with her daughter, this one did, in fact, required her to carry it. But it looked much more formal (black-tie, even), which more closely bordered her designer dress andthe ones we typically see at fall or winter weddings.

While mixing metals is A-okay, Hudson kept everything matchy-matchy this time around. We noticed that the gold on her chunky earrings fit seamlessly with the gold trim on her rectangular purse. This $29 option is similar with a tinge of metallic along the top, and if you’re going to a gala or wedding, the visually-appealing pleats will likely just be a few of the many you see throughout the night.

The black is almost sold out, but a pop of color, like red or emerald green for the impending holiday season, could also be a good choice.

Hudson’s clutch looks like an evening-ready envelope style, as is this one. For under $20, it has a shiny patent leather finish that is a “totally high-end look,”according to one shopper. But if you want to sport something shiny in a different capacity, this$11 purse(the cheapest one we found!) is mostly matte with a few glittering crystals that will sparkle in the sun.
