Krispy Kreme’s latest treats are ghoulishly good.

Starting on Oct. 7, the bakery chain is sellingGhostbusters-inspired doughnuts in honor of the movie’s 40th anniversary. TheKrispy Kremex Ghostbusters Collection consists of four different sweets and a neon drink.

The first of the newbies is the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut. This takes an original glazed doughnut and dips it in chocolate icing. Then, it is topped with Oreo pieces, Oreo buttercream and a No Ghost logo.

The Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut is also made with an original glazed doughnut. An orange icing dip and partial covering in neon sprinkles add to the Halloween-y look.

Two of the treats highlight iconic monsters from the original movie: the Slimer Doughnut and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart.

For fans who like a filled-doughnut, the Slimer Doughnut is the treat for them. An unglazed doughnut is full of lemon filling and dipped in purple icing. A green icing slime-shaped puddle and Slimer-shaped candy on top give a nod to the 1984 film.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart. Glazed Doughnut Dots make up the body of Stay Puft. Marshmallow-flavored buttercream and a candy piecepullsthe character’s look together.

In addition to the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme is dishing out the Slimer’s Slime-ade — a neon-green twist on lemonade.

Wendy’s is taking inspiration from another beloved on-screen cast for its new menu items.

For another Spongebob-oriented item, fans can try the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty. This sweet choice combines Wendy’s beloved vanilla Frosty with a swirl of pineapple-mango puree.
