Lainey Wilsonis ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in Arlington, Texas!
The Louisiana native, 32, will spend the holiday in the Lone Star State to perform at The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium.
“You might know me for my bell-bottoms, but I want to be known for my bell-ringing, too. I am so excited to announce that I have teamed up with The Salvation Army to love beyond the holidays and make a difference in our communities all year round,” said Wilson while announcing the news next to the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders in avideo posted onlineon Sunday, Oct. 13.
“Tune in to watch me and a special guest this Thanksgiving on Fox. We’re gonna kick off the season right,” she added.

The halftime show marks the official start of The Salvation Army’s annual fundraiser, which helped support services for more than 27 million people in America last year.
Being that the game, which last yearfeatured a halftime show performancefromDolly Partonand drew in 42 million viewers, it is no surprise that Wilson was called upon for the job.
