Beer is currently touring Asia and Australia for The Encore, a follow-up to The Spinnin Tour, which kicked off in February. The Encore began in Singapore on Aug. 22 and wraps up in Melbourne on Sept. 2.

Last month, the Grammy-nominated musician released her latest single, “15 Minutes.”

The “Reckless” singer’s statement requesting privacy on tour comes shortly afterChappell Roanmade headlines forcriticizing some fans' “creepy behavior”earlier this month. The “Red Wine Supernova” performer stated that people are not “entitled” to treat her a certain way just because of her star status.

“I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous or a little famous,” Roan, 26, began in a TikTok shared Monday, Aug. 19.

“I don’t care that it’s normal,” she continued. “I don’t care that this crazy type of behavior comes along with the job, [or] the career field I’ve chosen. That does not make it OK. That doesn’t make it normal. That doesn’t mean I want it. Doesn’t mean that I like it.”

A week later, the “Casual” singer inspired even more chatter after once againasking fans to respect her boundarieson social media. “For the past 10 years l’ve been going nonstop to build my project and it’s come to the point that I need to draw lines and set boundaries,” she wrote in alengthy messageon Instagram.

“I just need to lay it out and remind you, women don’t owe you s—,” she continued. “I chose this career path because I love music and art and honoring my inner child, I do not accept harassment of any kind because I chose this path, nor do I deserve it.”
