“AfterMAFS, I knew there was something better in store for me,” theMarried at First Sightalum told PEOPLE exclusively. “I took a leap of faith and a little hope and it landed me the man of my dreams.”

Her fiancé popped the question during a trip to Cancún, Mexico. “Ray surprised me during a photo shoot on the beach before [we] headed to dinner and a show,” she revealed.

The couple, who likes totravelandstay activetogether, celebrated their first anniversary last July with a special dinner, which Georgoulis documented on her Instagram.

Captioned “Anniversary Dinner dump. 1 year down. Forever to go,” thepostshowed some of the dishes that the two enjoyed and showed insight into their sweet dynamic.

“Michelin dining is like art. It’s a long meal with fantastic service meant to be enjoyed and appreciated,” Georgoulis wrote in the caption. “Our second date was my first experience so why not celebrate our anniversary the same way.”
