Michelle Obamais loving the sisterhood between the gymnastic champions at the2024 Paris Summer Olympics!
The former first lady, 60, shared her delighted reaction at seeingSimone BilesandJordan Chilesbowing toRebeca Andradeduring the medal ceremony for the women’s floor gymnastics final on Monday, Aug. 5.
On Tuesday, Aug. 6, Obamareshareda photo of the special moment on X (formerly Twitter). “I’m still not over this beautiful moment of sisterhood and sportsmanship! You can just feel the love shining through these ladies. Congrats Rebeca, Jordan and Simone! ✨,” she added in her post.
The three gymnastic champions made Olympic history on Monday becoming the first all-Black gymnastics podium finishers after the women’s floor final.

During the podium ceremony, silver medalist Biles, 27, and bronze winner Chiles, 23, bowed down to Andrade, 25, in a heartwarming gesture as she stepped onto the podium to collect her gold medal.
Discussing the poignant moment afterward, Bilestold PEOPLE, “[We were] showing good sportsmanship [and] having fun out there because it was the last competition.”

Andrade explained to reporters after the final, “We can show the Black power … The idea is it serves as an incentive.” The Brazilian champion added that while “sometimes it may be more difficult” for gymnasts because of their “skin color,” the trio proves “it’s possible.”
Obama offered words of encouragement at the time, writing on X: “Am I good enough? Yes, I am. The mantra I practice daily.@Simone_Biles, we are proud of you and we are rooting for you. Congratulations on the silver medal, Team@USA!”
