Guyton opened for Twain on the star’s Queen of Me Tour last year — and left with the wisdom thatman, it feels goodto be a woman.

During an appearance onWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohenon Sunday, Aug. 18, Guyton was asked about the most important lesson she’d learned from the “You’re Still the One” singer, 58, during their time together on the road last July.

“She does not care,” Guyton added. “And I feel like you should be strong and be confident in who you are and I love that about her.”

Twain kicked off her Queen of Me Tour in April 2023 in support of her newest album of the same name, and wrapped the tour in November after nearly 80 shows. Guyton served as the opening act for a handful of North American shows in July 2023.

Upon wrapping the gig, Guytonshared a photoof her and Twain together to social media, writing that the star was her “person” growing up.

“I used to listen to her music on a loop as a teenager, so to have the opportunity to open for her means the absolute world to me,” she wrote. “The #QueenOfMeTour was such a surreal, amazing experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you so much Shania for letting me be a part of it.”

“[I] try not to cry just cause it’s been really cool to see, you know, country music. Black country coming to the table and watching Black people and the culture embrace us,” shetold PEOPLE in Juneat the 2024 BET Awards. “It’s something that has been so needed, and it’s just a beautiful thing to see.”
