Mike Tyson Plans to Honor His Late Daughter with a Special Outfit During Jake Paul Fight

Boxing legendMike Tysonis just hours away from his match against social media personalityJake Paul, and as the former heavyweight champ gets ready for the bout, he has plans to honor his daughter in a special way.

On Friday, Nov. 15, Tyson, 58, and Paul, 27, will face off in the highly-anticipated match at Texas’ AT&T Stadium. For the big moment — and his first match since 2020 — Tyson plans to wear black boxing trunks with the name of his late daughter, Exodus Sierra Tyson, stitched onto the bottom front corner in white lettering, according toUSA Today.

Per BYLT Basics, the company Tyson has partnered with for the match, the trunks were designed to specifically honor Exodus’ memory, company spokesperson Robert Pursell said, according to the outlet.

Five months later, in Oct. 2009, Tyson admitted toOprah Winfreythat he didn’t want to know the details surrounding his daughter’s death.

“Because if I know, then there might be a blame for it. And if there’s somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem,” Tyson said at the time.

Earlier this week, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Tyson said that Paul should brace himself for what’s about to come his way in the ring.

“I’m bringing the devil himself [to the ring],” Tyson said perESPN. “There are no feelings attached.”

Tyson continued, “My own mother should be very careful if she has to get in the ring with me. When it’s over, it’s over. But while the process is going on, my intention is to hurt him. I hope he has the same intentions, or he is in trouble,” he said, according to the outlet.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson will air globally on Netflix on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. ET.
