Actor Gabriel Olds has been arrested and charged with seven counts of sexual assault, say police.

TheEyes of Tammy Fayeactor, 52, wasarrested in Los Angeles, Calif., on Wednesday, Aug. 7, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement on Thursday.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office charged him with seven counts of sexual assault in July and issued an arrest warrant for $3.5 million, per the statement.

Their investigation dates back to January 2023 when a 41-year-old woman reported Olds for allegedly raping her in her home, per the LAPD.

Soon after, police received similar accusations from two other alleged victims; police say these alleged attacks dated back 10 years, per the statement.

The accusers described alleged “consensual dating encounters that descended into violent sexual assaults,” the LAPD said.

“We heard the same story again and again," Detective Brent Hopkins of the LAPD said in the statement, alleging that the actor would present as “charming” to his alleged victims and then “used brutal violence to carry out these rapes.”

Olds, who has made brief appearances on shows such asNCISandFBI International, allegedly used his Ivy League education and name in Hollywood “to meet women and arrange dates,” his accusers said, per police.

Investigators allege that several accusers have reported meeting Olds on dating apps in the past few years.

“Each victim reported that Olds lured them into a false sense of security during their initial encounters, then turned violent without seeking their consent,” LAPD said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Olds has entered pleas or retained an attorney to speak on his behalf.
