Netflix is still searching for their perfect NFL broadcast duo after Fox Sports rejected a request to hireTom Brady.
Just months after the 47-year-old former NFL star’sheadline-making comedy roaston the streaming giant, theNew York Postreported that Brady and his Fox Sports colleagueKevin Burkhardtwere Netflix’s first choice for their upcoming NFL debut.
Back in May, theWall Street Journalreported back that Netflix had agreed to pay $150 million for two of the NFL’s 2024 Christmas Day games — Chiefs vs. Steelers and Ravens vs. Texans.

According to thePost,Netflix is now looking at Ian and Noah Eagle,Greg Olsenand Nate Burleson for their Christmas day programming, though no deals have been finalized.
Ian, 55, is 27-year-old Noah’s father and a longtime CBS Sports broadcast talent alongside Burleson, 43. CBS Sports will serve as a third party producer for Netflix’s Christmas games, according to thePost.

“I’m learning a lot, believe me,” Brady laughed near the end of the game when Burkhardt joked about how he had predicted a low-scoring game before the Cowboys went on to blowout the Browns.
“Well, Tom Brady is even wrong once in a while,” Burkhardt quipped. “How about that?”
