Nico Tortorella’swifeBethany C. Meyersis getting ready for the possibility that she’ll give birth during Hurricane Milton.
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, Bethany, 38, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories of her pregnant belly, writing a statement over the picture. “I started the day feeling pretty good about our placement in the storm path. But feeling a lot less positive now after seeing it’s moved south,” she began.
She went on to say that her family was packing their bags and evacuating and that they were lucky enough to have booked a hotel a few days ago.
“I can’t control when I go into labor and I can’t control the storm so just trusting the process and timing of birth,” Meyers continued. “People have birthed in all kinds of situations and places. Channeling the deep lineage of birthers before me. I am simply the vessel.”

She continued, saying that while she’s upset about the storm, she’s grateful that her husband secured the house and that they’re able to get to safety. Thanking those who have reached out to her, she said she didn’t know yet how anyone could help.
Tortorella, 36, also shared a few updates onhis Instagram Stories, explaining that they were taking down the tent that his wife was going to use during her home birth and saying that they were about to evacuate.
“There’s also a hospital literally right across the street that is apparently going to open throughout the whole storm so we’re locked and loaded. And we’re going closer to our midwives. Just giving everyone an update.”
She also took a moment to acknowledge the couple’s history with infertility struggles while celebrating their happy news.
She wrote, “Already, I see the personality differences between our first and second. Which makes me feel like so much of fertility and family expansion is divine timing. We did all the earthly tactics to get our babies, while our babies did all the heavenly ones. Together, we combine forces to prepare for their grand entrance into the world.”
