Kidman also opened up to the outlet about her love of travel and how she’s passed that on to her kids. She shares two children, Bella and Connor, with exTom Cruise, and two daughters, Sunday and Faith, with husbandKeith Urban.
“My kids are willing to travel… maybe less so now [that they’re older], but they’re very interested in the world, too. They say they’ve got so many stamps on their passport, more than most people that are in their eighties,” says Kidman.
She credited her work as a big reason why her kids’ passports are filled with stamps from “all over” the world, as she is “willing” to travel far for her films. Her kids have lived in places like “Morocco, France, Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, Vietnam, Hong Kong,” she said.

TheBig Little Liesstar added how important travel is for her as it’s part of her “global education.”
“It’s given me an empathetic heart and a way into people’s lives that I never would have been exposed to [otherwise],” she told the outlet. “I don’t think existing only in your own territory is good.”
She continued, “Always reaching out to understand, learn, and see different perspectives is how I was raised. That’s probably why I travel. It gives me a greater understanding of how people view their country in relation to the world.”

Sheopened up about the challenging roleand how it left her “ragged” while speaking withVanity Fairearlier in August.
“At some point I was like, I don’t want to be touched. I don’t want to do this anymore, but at the same time I was compelled to do it,” she said. “I’ve made some films that are pretty exposing, but not like this.”
