Need a last minute Halloween costume?Nicole Scherzingerhas you covered.

The 46-year-old singer’s turn as Norma Desmond in the Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’sSunset Boulevardhas people talking for more reasons than one. Scherzinger’s final costume — a simple black slip dress with blood smeared down her body — is nearly as jaw-dropping as her vocal performance.

“You could probably do it in 15 bucks or something,” she tells Wontorek. “All you need is a black slip, you don’t even need shoes. Put some slides on just to be safe to get from one place to the next. You don’t need any jewelry. Norma doesn’t wear jewelry because she’s a sleep walker.”

As for the spookiest part of the ensemble, the star reveals that the Broadway production uses corn syrup for fake blood.

“So it has a really rich consistency,” she explains. “And just really dress that blood across the clavicle and the chesticles.”

For an extra tip, Scherzinger recommends putting the fake blood in the palm of your hands, bringing it to your chin and letting it spill down your face, neck and chest.
