Noel Gallagher Jokes He Fell Out with Brother Liam 'Because He Stole My Teddy Bear' Ahead of Oasis Reunion Tour

The latest addition to the timeline of the Gallagher brothers' feud? A stolen teddy bear.

“This is Noel, that … this is dad’s legendary band,” Sheward says, as his daughter asks, “Wait, is he getting back with his brother?”

Chiming in, one of the fan’s sons then asks, “Why did you fall out with your brother?” prompting Noel to joke with him a bit.

“Why did I fall out with him?” the British rocker repeats as another one of the fan’s sons clutches a Winnie-the-Pooh stuffed animal.

“‘Cause he stole my teddy bear,” he next jokes as the kids laugh. “I’m not lying. He stole it. 1978.”

Detecting Noel’s jesting, the son holding the stuffed bear then tells the “Wonderwall” songwriter, “You’re fake, see you,” and walks away, leaving both his father and the musician laughing.

Coincidentally, Liam, 51, has also discussed his and his brother’s feud with a group of small children.

In a 2018Noisey video, the lead singer — who is known for his posts directed at Noel — fielded questions from a group of schoolchildren about their relationship, at one point telling a young girl that the Oasis guitarist is “naughty.”

“And he’s not much bigger than you, actually,” Liam said of his then-estranged older brother.

“What shoe size are you?” he next asked the girl, before telling her that Noel’s size is even smaller.

Elsewhere in the video, another kid brought up Noel’s other band, High Flying Birds, and said he likes their music, prompting Liam to respond, “You don’t really, do you? You’re trying to wind me up, aren’t you? You want me to kick off.”

Oasis announced its unexpected (and long-awaited) reunion on Tuesday, Aug. 27, along with a Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour that will hit multiple stadiums across the U.K. and Ireland next summer. The shows mark the band’s first in the region in 16 years.

The big reveal comes nearly 15 years after the Gallagher brothers famously broke up in 2009 following an alleged backstage argument at Paris’ Rock en Seine festival.

“The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over,” Oasis said in a statement announcing the reunion. “Come see. It will not be televised.”

Inan Instagram postteasing the return, the group added, “This is it, this is happening.”
