Omar Nok began his journey from his native Egypt to Japan on Feb. 8, 2024.
“I came up with the idea of doing this journey without flying so I could visit and see as many places and people as I can along the way,” Nok, 30, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview.
He continues: “Flying is like a shortcut from one place to another, and I wanted to explore as much as I can on the way, especially [since] I had never traveled in Asia before.

When Robert Schock, 39, parked his vehicle at Hannegan Pass Trailhead in Washington state nearly three months ago, he had his day mapped out: He would run about 20 miles in North Cascades National Park with his dog Freddy and then return home. Simple. And for that reason, he packed very minimal supplies.
“I am an ultra runner,” Schock tells PEOPLE. “I’m not a hiker. I don’t put on backpacks and go out for multiple-day trips.

The man called 911 at 2:07 a.m. and told police he had fought with his wife and she was now dead.
Some 20 minutes later in the early morning of Aug. 29, police in Maine located the man on the Piscataqua River Bridge, which links Maine and New Hampshire.
The man – whose name has not been released – was parked on the southbound side in Kittery, Maine, according toMaine State Police.

A manwho was 10 years oldwhen he saysSean “Diddy” Combs sexually assaulted him still suffers from night terrors nearly 20 years after the alleged abuse, according to a complaint.
Combs then allegedly forced the plaintiff to perform oral sex and said something to the effect of “you have to do some stuff you don’t want to do sometimes,” the complaint states.

Adam Fravel, 30, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder on Thursday, Nov. 7 in connection with the death of 26-year-old Kingsbury, according to reports fromKSTP,KARE 11andThe Minnesota Star Tribune.
The verdict came 10 hours after a jury began deliberations following a month-long trial, theStar Tribunereports.
