Pregnant Margot Robbie Is 'Preparing for Her Baby's Arrival' While Enjoying ‘Some Downtime' in Los Angeles (Exclusive Source)

Margot Robbieis getting ready to become a new mom!

“Margot absolutely can’t wait,” the insider tells PEOPLE, adding that Robbie and Ackerley have “wanted to be parents for a really long time, and are so happy.”

“She looks amazing,” adds the source. “She’s usually one of the hardest working actresses in Hollywood. She seems to enjoy some downtime from filming now though.”

Amid hospital visits in L.A., the Oscar nominee has “still been working a bit,” continues the source. “She seems to love staying busy.”

Robbie has several projects in development, includingA Big Bold Beautiful JourneywithColin Farrelland Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Along with co-founding the couple’s production company LuckyChap with Ackerley, “she and her husband are entrepreneurs too,” notes the insider, pointing to the couple’s recently-launched gin brand, Papa Salt.

A set source told PEOPLEin July that “no one” on the set of director Kogonada’sA Big Bold Beautiful Journey“suspected that she was pregnant.” Robbie “was super professional and focused while filming,” said the source, adding, “She had long days, but it didn’t seem like a big deal to her.”

Robbie and Ackerley have been together since 2014 after meeting in 2013 on the set ofSuite Française, where he was an assistant director. They tied the knot in a private ceremony on Australia’s Gold Coast in December 2016 and have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

In regard to becoming first-time parents, a sourcetold PEOPLEin July that Robbie and Ackerley “wanted to start a family for quite some time… Family means a lot to both of them and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted.”
