Prince William Makes Under-the-Radar Visit to Cozy Inn amid College Stop

Prince William’s visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland included a stop at a cozy English inn.
On Oct. 17, the Prince of Wales' team posted a new photo of him along with a little background about the unannounced outing.
“Prince William popped into The Warren House Inn earlier, on beautiful Dartmoor. Legend has it the pub fire has been alight since it was built in 1845!” his team wrote onXwith a flames emoji.
The shot showed Prince William, 42, standing and smiling before a glowing fireplace. Chalk menus behind him advertised the soup of the day (sweet potato and chili) and invited guests to “Try a glass of scrumpy” or take a bottle of the cider home.

Though Prince William and his wifeKate Middletonsupport the crown as working royals, not all of their outings are announced in advance, and they’re known to explore the local area when they’re on the road. In May, it emerged that the Prince and Princess of Wales stayed at acharming Airbnbduring an official visit to Wales in 2023, and the bed and breakfast said they were lovely guests.
“We were delighted to welcome William and Kate for a night here when they visited The Brecon Beacons,” the Duffryn Mawr Country House wrote in a post onFacebook, along with a shot from their stay. “So kind and friendly, it was a pleasure to have them stay here.”
