“That Friendis all about bringing the world Sabrina’s created on TikTok to life in a more expansive, exciting way than ever before — and casting was a huge part of that,” said Lara Blackman, Simon & Schuster Audio’s senior acquisitions editor, in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “While Sabrina tends to star in videos on her own, the audiobook is full of one-of-a-kind characters that each bring something unique to the story, and we’re lucky to have found the perfect voice for each with this talented group of actors.”

Brier announced that she would be writing and publishingThat Friendearlier this year withVariety. The comedian, who has garnered over 83 million likes on TikTok and who appeared on the Emmy-winning sitcomAbbott Elementary, told the outlet that creating the audiobook was a new way to share her comedy with her audience.

It really appealed to me to work in a format that moves with you as you go about your day.
