Reese Witherspoon Keeps It Classic in Tulle Dress with Floral Details at 2024 Emmys — See Her Timeless Look

Reese Witherspoonwas ready to impress on the2024 Emmy Awardsred carpet.

The actress,who is up for outstanding lead actress in a drama seriesfor her work onThe Morning Show, attended the Sunday, Sept. 15 event in classic strapless black Dior dress with delicate floral detailing on the bodice that cascaded down onto the tulle skirt.

She pulled her hair up into a bun and wore a smokey eye and light lipstick. She accessorized with just a few jewels and carried a matching gold clutch.

Witherspoon shared a few photos of herself onInstagramahead of the show, writing, “Emmy’s night!! So excited to celebrate @themorningshow season 3 and all of the amazing people who made it happen.”

Rounding out the list of outstanding lead actress in a drama series nominees are Witherspoon’s costar,Jennifer Aniston,Anna Sawai(Shōgun),Carrie Coon(The Gilded Age),Imelda Staunton(The Crown), andMaya Erskine(Mr. and Mrs. Smith).

This is thesecond time Witherspoon is up for the awardafterbeing nominated in the same category in 2022.

That year, she attended the ceremony in adazzling black-and-blue Armani Privé dress. The full sequin look was paired with Tiffany & Co. jewels, including a platinum necklace set with 160 carats of aquamarines, 49 carats of blue zircons, and nearly two carats of diamonds.

Witherspoon topped off the showstopping outfit with diamond earrings and an aquamarine ring.

It’s been a busy few months for themom of three, who, along withkicking off production on season 4 ofThe Morning Show, signed on toexecutive produce theLegally Blondeprequel seriesElle.

“Fans will get to know how Elle Woods navigated her world as a teenager with her distinct personality and ingenuity, in ways that only our beloved Elle could do," said Witherspoon in a statement in May.
