The “Photograph” singer is currently hard at work on a country album with T Bone Burnett, the details of which will be announced next month.

Despite recently celebrating his 84th birthday, Starr is as busy as ever, andtold PEOPLE last yearthat he knows age is just a number.

“Nothing makes me feel old. In my head, I’m 27,” he said. “Wisdom’s a heavy word. [Getting older] is what happens, and you try and keep yourself busy.”

He also explained why having a positive outlook on life has never been something at which he’s had to work hard.

“I never felt really down,” he said. “I mean, I have my moments, of course. But my spirits are high. That’s all I can say, really.”
