Rumor Renée Zellweger Is Wary of Ant Anstead's Newly Single Ex Christina Hall Is 'Laughable:' Source (Exclusive)

Things have not changed betweenAnt AnsteadandRenée Zellweger amid his exChristina Hall’s recent divorce news.

A source tells PEOPLE that arumorthat Zellweger, 55, Anstead’s girlfriend of over three years, is worried about her relationship with theRadford Rebornhost, 45, is “totally laughable.”

In the wake of the split, Christina re-followed Anstead on Instagram and liked a photo of their son, seemingly extending a social media olive branch to her ex.

Christina alsoresponded to a fan’s comment that mentioned Ansteadlast week.

She laterset the record straight, on Wednesday, Aug. 1, tellingET, “It would be good for ratings, butI can’t work with any more exes. I already work with Tarek.”

Zellweger and Anstead, who first met on the set of his discovery+ showCelebrity IOU Joyride,have been dating since June 2021.

They keep their relationship private for the most part, but Anstead has been known to give nods to his partner on social media, including things likea Christmas ornament with her name on itor a glimpse of the actress’ssignature orange baseball capin his posts.

In April, 2023, PEOPLE confirmed the pair had moved in together afterfinding a home “they both love"in Orange County, Calif.

“They are very happy and in love. They have tried to keep their relationship private and low-key because of Hudson,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.

In April 2024, an insider told PEOPLE that Ansteadwould temporarily relocate to his native Londonas the actress filmed the upcoming fourthBridget Jonesmovie.

“Ant is going over to the U.K. with Renée while she is filming [Bridge Jones’s Diary 4] later this year. Ant is excited to spend time with his older kiddos,” said the insider, referring to Ant’s older children from his first marriage — daughterAmelie, 20, and sonArchie, 17.

Anstead confirmed he was in the U.K. in Maywhen he shared a photo of himself onInstagramwith a caption that read, “A happy place,” with a heart and Union Jack flag.

A month later, he showedhimself traveling back to London with Hudson, whom he continues to share joint physical and legal custody of with Hall.

Anstead and Halltied the knot in a surprise backyard wedding in December 2018beforecalling things off in September 2020.
