Ryan Fitzpatrick Teases Bill Belichick About His 24-Year-Old Girlfriend Jordon Hudson

Former New York Jets quarterbackRyan Fitzpatrickis poking fun atBill Belichick’s relationship withJordon Hudson.

After photos surfaced of 24-year-old Hudson — who has been dating the 72-year-old former Patriots coach for over a year — in a Belichick-inspired Halloween costume, Fitzpatrick, 41, posted a snarky quip about the couple on X (formerly known as Twitter).

In a reply to photos of Hudson wearing a New York Giants outfit reminiscent of her boyfriend’s role as the Giants defensive coordinator from 1985 to 1990, Fitzpatrick wrote, “For all you 48 year old hopeless romantics out there just think your future person may not even be born yet,” along with three red heart emojis.

One userwrote, “This is why you’re perfect for Twitter,” in a reply to Fitzpatrick, who played against Belichick-coached teams during his 17 seasons in the league. A different accountcalledthe former quarterback the “best follow on Twitter” after he cracked the joke and anotherwrote, “Omg Fitz, this comment is legendary!”

After the pair were spotted together on a number of occasions, sparking rumors of their romance, PEOPLE confirmed in late June of this year that Belichick and Hudson had been dating for more than a year at the time.

Hudson has since taken their relationship Instagram official, sharing sweet selfies with Belichick from their summer adventures and various outings.

Before dating Hudson, the former NFL coach called it quits with girlfriendLinda Hollidayafter 16 years together. Amid the longtime couple’s split, Holliday, 61, had been overseeing theBill Belichick Foundation.

However, since the pair split in September 2023, Holliday’s role in her ex’s foundation has been made more complicated. “They have issues to clear up that come from a long relationship as well as her role in his professional life,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
