Sabrina Carpenter Puts Retro Spin on 'Espresso' forThe Tonight Show— Watch!

There’s no such thing as too muchSabrina Carpenter.

On Thursday, Oct. 3, the singer-songwriter performed her hit song “Espresso” onThe Tonight Show.

At one point in the performance, Carpenter, 25, made her way to hostJimmy Fallon’s desk, spun in his chair and laid down atop the desk.

The “Fast Times” performer released her pop hit “Espresso” in April as a single from her sixth and latest studio albumShort n’ Sweet. The song peaked at No. 3 on theBillboardHot 100, while the album spent two weeks atop theBillboardHot 200 chart after being released in August.

In August, Carpenter opened up about her intention behind the single toThe Guardian.

“It was a manifestation tactic, becauseno oneliked me romantically at that point – no one was obsessed with me," she told the outlet. “I didn’t have anyone I was even talking to.”

The “Feather” performer — who is currently on herShort n' Sweettour — added that she’s “always been a bit delusional, in that sense.”

In June, she opened up toRolling Stoneabout the song’s success.

“My mom has been like, ‘Do you feel crazy right now?’” Carpenter said of the song. “I just love that people get my sense of humor."

That same month, the success of “Espresso” also led to a collaboration with rising pop star and Van Leeuwen foran espresso-flavored ice cream.
