The novel is also akin to Oh’s family story, whose parents immigrated to Canada from South Korea, and raised the actress and her siblings in a Korean community in Ottawa.

Pachinkowill be theKilling Eveactress’s first solo audiobook narration as well, though she has been a part of multi-cast audiobooks in the past, including novels like Lucy Maud Montgomery’sAnne of Green Gablesand Han Kang’sHuman Acts.
