While her kids thought Billy would be a girl, Leavitt says she knew it was a boy all along. “I was very confident that I was having a boy because Billy’s pregnancy was so similar to my son, Liam’s, pregnancy,” she explains. “Finding out the gender in the delivery room was a feeling of greater anticipation that I couldn’t wait for. Finding out we were having another boy was an overwhelming sense of emotion.”

As a newly-minted mom of three, she tells PEOPLE, “We are most nervous about having three car seats in our car. We’ve activated the third row in our Kia Sorento and it’s quite intimidating.”

At the conclusion ofThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Whitney decides to leave MomTok.

“I want to focus on my family. I want to focus on what I want our future to be,” Whitney tells her family of her mixed feelings about MomTok. “I want to focus on my homestead!”

In her last scene,Whitney leaves the group with a brutal quip: “My parting words for MomTok? Good luck without me.”

“Excited to film season 2 with all of you 🤍 I know there’s tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together,” she texted her costars in a video shared to her socials.

During her sit down onOff the Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe, Leavitt shared her hopes for a second season and what she could do differently.

“During that time, I was going through so much that when I watch it, I’m like, ‘Well, yeah, I was reacting that way because of [X, Y and Z],’ " Leavitt continued. “There’s a reason why we react to certain things in our life. And, unfortunately, there was some context that wasn’t there as to why I made certain decisions or as to why I reacted that way, which doesn’t always make it right.”

Leavitt noted that she recognized some of her reactions to the drama were “dramatic,” but she hoped to “continue to be myself” in the new season.

“What I really learned from this last season is I just wanna let go of what I can’t control,” she added. “I can’t control what other women are gonna say or do or whatever, but, like, I control what I can control and I also don’t wanna take things as personally as I did in the first season.”
