On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Second Stage Theater announced the star-studded cast who will be taking the stage alongside Woodley, 32. The ensemble includesZachary Quinto, who previously shared the screen with Woodley in the 2016 biopic thriller,Snowden, as well asEuphoria’s Barbie Ferreira, Christopher Lowell (Glow), Molly Bernard (Younger) and Rebecca Henderson (Star Wars: The Acolyte).
Stage performers Christopher Sears and Roberta Colindrez also round out the initial casting, with two remaining roles yet to be announced.
Per Second Stage Theater, the family’s “traditions include singing carols in harmony at the drop of a hat, but the gathering is anything but harmonious. Old conflicts resurface, new issues battled, and dinner is taking absolutely forever to be served.” But amid rising tensions, “will the love the Dahl [family] have for each other be enough to get them through, or will this be their last Christmas together?”
In addition to Woodley, Headland will also make her Broadway debut with this play after writing and producing several Off-Broadway productions, includingBachelorette, which she adapted into the feature film starringKirsten DunstandRebel Wilson. Prior to returning to theater, Headland created theStar Warsseries,The Acolyte, and co-createdRussian Doll, the Emmy-winning Netflix series starringNatasha Lyonne.
Quinto, 47, meanwhile, can next be seen on-screen in the NBC medical drama,Brilliant Minds.

Cult of Lovewill begin previews on Nov. 20 before officially opening on Dec. 12 at the Helen Hayes Theater.Tickets are now available.
