Raising Cane’s
During the Raising Cane’s event earlier this week, Snoop was a special guest alongsideKatie Ledecky.
After his Q&A, the rapper performed a DJ set, where he mixed some of his classics with other hits from across genres and different decades.
The event, according to a press release, was set up “to recognize, reward and celebrate” more than 3,000 Raising Cane’s leaders and their significant others. It was described as “an industry-defining conference that was centered around relaxing and having a good time.”
Elsewhere during his Q&A, Snoop compared himself to Raising Cane’s, stating that his success matches that of the brand.
“Being able to listen to the consumer, and listen to the base of people who keep you successful, who keep you famous, to understand what they love about you and to continue that [is important,]” he said. “… Somebody was saying that Raising Cane’s only got chicken strips, french fries and toast. I’m like, ‘S—, that’s all you need.’ I’m the same way. I’m Snoop Dogg. I’m just me. I’m not nothing extra. I’m just Snoop Dogg, but people love coming back to it because it’s quality and it’s consistent, and I think that’s what we have in common.”
