Sophia Culpois coming toScorpio’s defense when it comes to this big misconception about their zodiac sign.

Ahead of her 28th birthday, the internet personality spoke exclusively to PEOPLE atSports Illustrated’s 60th Anniversary Party on Nov. 14 about her Sun sign and the good and bad reputations that come along with it.

Though she noted that the zodiac sign does have a good reputation for “being genuine and loyal,” she notes that they’re often “called out to be crazy sex addicts.”

“Which, who said that was a bad thing?” she quipped.

Before ringing in her 28th birthday on Nov. 15, she told PEOPLE that the year prior was about “closing a lot of chapters and really starting what I really feel is the best part of my life.”

“[Your] twenties are hard and once you learn [the] hard lessons everybody needs to learn, you realize there was so much to love about those lessons that you went through,” she explained. “So for me 27 was just a really great year. I feel like it was a year where I really grew into myself and my confidence and better versions of myself that I’m so proud to be.”

To celebrate her 28th birthday, Sophia also shared exclusive details about the “chill” Christmas-themed birthday party she threw with her sisterOliviaand Sophia’s boyfriendMichael Stevens.

Sophia shared festive snaps and videos with her sister and Stevens onInstagram, where they wore matching Christmas-themed red pajamas and served holiday classic treats and drinks.

“My nickname is sofa cushion because I like all things cozy,” she wrote on herInstagrampost on Nov. 14. “So naturally my birthday party this year involved pjs (again lol) and all things warm and Christmasy.”

Looking forward to the new year, Sophia says she wants a “peaceful year” in 2025. “I’m at that point in my life where I like my circle small and I like my genuine friends and the people that I love around me.”

“As you get older, you don’t feel the need to really impress as many people as maybe you did when you were younger,” she continued. “that to me is the biggest gift of my later twenties. I’m like, ‘that’s lovely, I love that feeling.’ "
