“Aside from pregnancy, we’re also remodeling our new home. Life is pretty hectic at the moment but felt we could somehow manage to squeeze in one last vacation just the three of us.”

Jacobs and Appel met in 2019 at a summer rooftop party in Jacobs' hometown of Santa Barbara. They made their relationshipInstagram officiala few months later.

In March 2021, PEOPLE exclusively revealed the two got engaged while on a snowmobile ride in Park City, Utah. Later that year, the pair secretlytied the knotin an intimate wedding ceremony.
