Anderson Berard married her husband Charlie, a chief technology officer atCelero Commerce, in September 2022. She was previously married to photographerMatt Lucierfrom 2017 to 2021.

The new mom has been a longtime member of the Swiftie universe since before the pop star became famous, as the two became friends on the first day of high school.

“I have a lot of friends who do what I do. Either they’re actresses or singers or things like that. But my best friend, Abigail, we met when I was 15. First day of school freshman year we sat next to each other in English,” said Swift during an interview onTheOprah Winfrey Show.

Swift has also revealed that Anderson Berard was the inspirationfor her coming-of-age track “Fifteen"from her 2008 albumFearless.

“You sit in class next to a red-head named Abigail / And soon enough you’re best friends / Laughing at the other girls / Who think they’re so cool / We’ll be out of here as soon as we can,“sings Swiftin the song.

“Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday / But I realized some bigger dreams of mine / And Abigail gave everything she had / To a boy who changed his mind / And we both cried,” she sings in another.
