Taylor Swift's Mom Andrea Shares Emotional Moment at Eras Tour Show with Teen Fan Critically Injured in Shark Attack

Taylor Swiftand her family made a teenage fan’s night very special after she survived a shark attack earlier this year.

Gribbin attended Swift’s Eras Tour stop at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Nov. 2, and a post about the experience was shared to anInstagramaccount documenting her journey on Nov. 3.

“About ten days after Lulu was injured, she received a box in the mail from@taylorswiftwith a handwritten note from her mom, Andrea,” began the caption. “They sent heartfelt well wishes right when Lulu and the Gribbins needed them and invited them to the concert of their choice whenever they were ready to attend.”

At the time, Gribbin was in the hospital and didn’t know when she’d walk again — but she’s made quite a bit of progress since June. At the concert, “Lulu, her family and friends danced the night away at the show in Indianapolis and got to sit with Mama Swift herself,” continued the note.

The post’s caption concluded, “A well deserved celebration for them all!! Thank you to Taylor and the Swift family for the amazing memories that will never be forgotten.”

According to a video documenting the full experience, Gribbin and her family sat on the floor of the stadium, and she got the chance to hang with Andrea, 66, with whom she appeared to swap a friendship bracelet in a separate post on the teen’s ownInstagram page.

Shortly after the shark attack in June, Lulu’s mom Ann Blair Gribbin shared an update on her daughter, who was “alert” and “chatting” post-surgery at the time.

“What I have witnessed is that Lulu is here. Nothing about her personality or funny, smart loving self has changed one bit,” Ann shared in ablog poston Caring Bridge at the time. “She may have lost her hand and her leg, but she is here, and we are truly grateful for that.”

“Just had the time of my life with 207,000 beautiful people in Indianapolis who showered us with so much love and excitement and joy… I know I’ll be looking back on this weekend and smiling because it was just like a dreamscape, all of it,” wrote the Grammy winner.

Swift added, “Thank you to everyone who came out to see us on our last 3 American shows!! And here’s a friendly but extremely important reminder that tomorrow is the US Election and your last chance to vote.”
