Warner Bros. Television has picked up options on British cast membersHannah Waddingham(who played Rebecca Walton),Brett Goldstein(Roy Kent) andJeremy Swift(Leslie Higgins), who were contracted under the United Kingdom acting union Equity.

PEOPLE reached out to Warner Bros. Television for confirmation but the studio declined to comment.

Earlier in August, co-creatorBill LawrencetoldColliderthefuture of the show is dependent on Sudeikisafter dismissing the season four rumors as “groupthink.” Overall, he said, “Whatever Jason feels like doing and whatever his decision is, we’re all down with it.”

Whilechatting with PEOPLEin January, Sudeikis was optimistic when asked about the potential of spinoffs or additional seasons of the beloved series.

“I feel three seasons of the show were just made with and attempted to personify and portray the spirit of hope, and so I offer those three seasons as an example,” he said.

Ahead of the premiere of the third season in 2023, Sudeikis said in aDeadlineinterview that the season signifies “the end of this storywe wanted to tell.” He also teased more to come, saying that the show has “set the table for all sorts of folks … to get to watch the further telling of these stories.”
