Victoria’s Secret Model Kelly Gale Marries Actor Joel Kinnaman in Burning Man Festival Wedding: 'Soulmates'

The Swedish actor, 44, and the Victoria’s Secret model, 29, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the middle of the desert during the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock City, Nevada.

Excited cheers can be heard off-camera as the newlyweds smiled at each other. Kinnaman then lifted Gale’s hooded-style veil, revealing a glittery embellished headpiece underneath, and the two shared a long kiss as their guests laughed and clapped.

For the occasion, Gale wore a white dress featuring cutouts at her midriff and a silver beaded bodice. Her lace-trimmed veil partly covered her shoulders and extended nearly to the ground.

She styled her hair in a braid and accessorized with ornate bracelets and simple stud earrings. TheFor All Mankindstar, meanwhile, sported a sheer white robe-style shirt and pants. Both the bride and groom were barefoot.

While it’s unclear what date the wedding took place, Burning Man ran from Aug. 25 to Sept. 2. Gale captioned her post, “Always been soulmates. Husband & Wife returning from the playa❤️.”

Many of the couple’s famous friends left congratulatory messages in the comment section, including Brazilian model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Laís Ribeiro, who wrote, “So happy for you guys! 😍🔥 congratulations 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.” Actor David Dastmalchian showed his love with a series of emojis: “❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Gale also shared a few wedding snaps on her Instagram Stories including a photo of the couple sitting on a bike together while dressed in their wedding attire. She also posted a selfie from bed showing her looking tired with the caption: “Also help. 9 months on the playa 😜 need to wash my hair and get a good nights sleep now.”

Gale and Kinnaman, who went public with their relationship in 2019, announced their engagement on Instagram in January 2021. TheSilent Nightstar posted a photo from the romantic oceanside proposal and jokingly captioned it: “She said no. Jus kiddin…”

His then-fiancée confirmed the happy news on her own Instagram page, alongsidetwo photosof the couple kissing on a cliff with her engagement ring on display. “Yours forever ❤️,” she wrote in the caption.

To mark Valentine’s Day this year, Gale shareda sentimental postfeaturing photos of the couple from over the years, including one taken on their very first date.

“Yesterday was Valentine’s Day, but also our 5 year anniversary❤️,” she wrote on Feb. 15. “First pic is from our first date.. Feels special now to have that moment captured. The last pic is from yesterday. The others are just a few of my favorite moments together 🫶🏽👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏼@joelkinnaman.”
