A major part of YouTuberAspyn Ovard’s content has focused on her family and her relationship with her husbandParker Ferris, however, that’s changed in recent months amid her divorce.
Since then, Ovard has mainly stayed silent about the couple’s divorce proceedings to “protect her peace” and her three children.
However, she has shared a number of TikToks alluding to their split and the reasoning behind it. Ovard has not revealed the details on why she filed for divorce, but in one TikTok shared in October, she revealed thecharacter traits she’s looking forin her next relationship.
“I know it seems like an obvious one, but imagine if they lied for like 10 years or something? Imagine how crazy?” she said. Other traits listed included “someone who has a job,” “financially contribute” and someone who “didn’t accuse” her of “cheating on them all the time.”

Aspyn Ovardbegan making videos on YouTube when she was in high school in 2011. Back then, her content focused on ongoing life updates and beauty content and featured her then-boyfriend Ferris at the time. Over the years, Ovard’s content evolved to focus on vlogs about her daily life and family.
Since her divorce, Ovard has begun posting more comedic content on TikTok, focused on her “divorce era,” speaking about embracing her single life and taking the time to “rediscover herself.”

Shortly after the initial filing, Ovard and Ferris decided topause their divorce proceedingson April 17 for additional time to negotiate their settlement.

Ovard has mostly remained silent on why she decided to separate from Ferris. However, the YouTuber gave insight on why she hasn’t spoken out in a TikTok shared inAugust. “You see how I considered my children and how it would affect them to have their family’s personal information shared all over the Internet? Very smart, very good mom,” she said in the clip while holding her newborn.
Ovard also revealed that she doesn’t “believe in the concept of marriage” amid her divorce while appearing on theWeekly Trashpodcastwith Josie Van Dyke in September.
“You just never know what life is gonna throw at you,” she explained, adding that she felt like she “couldn’t commit” to getting legally married again. “I would have a long-term partner If I met someone, but to get legally married? I would never do it again.”
Since then, Ovard has been active on TikTok posting about her “divorce era” and healing process. In aTikTokposted on Oct. 11, she confirmed that she “didn’t think I’ve ever been cheated on to my knowledge” but alluded to a betrayal that her friends knew about but didn’t tell her at the time in anotherTikTokshared on Oct. 22. In the video, Ovard said she would “never forgive” the friends who knew about the situation.
“These are people that I thought cared about me… even if they felt like ‘oh it’s not my business;’ it should’ve been,” she said. “If I was in this situation, I feel like it should have been like, ‘You need to tell her, and if you don’t, I will.’ ”
She also posted anow-deleted videothat outlined the key traits she was looking for in a partner, including “someone who doesn’t lie.”

Ovard and Ferris have continued to co-parent their three children amid their divorce.
Ovard has included Ferris in otherhumorous TikTok videosover the last few months, though she clarified her relationship status on thePretty Basic Podcastin September, teasing that the divorce proceedings have been finalized between the pair.
“In terms of a relationship status, it’s weird for me to say ‘I’m single’ because I have not said that since I was 17 years old,” she explained. “So really I’ve never even been single as an adult ever … so it’s a different era that I’m going into.”
Ovard continued to hint at what she was looking for in her next relationship as she appeared in a video with her sister Avrey in late October. In the clip,Avrey hinted at Ovard’s sexuality, writing “when you’ve been out for years and now your newly divorced sister wants to date girls too” over the video.
