Whitney Leavittisn’t happy with howTaylor Frankie Paul’s soft-swinging scandal put her and her family in the spotlight.

After months of not seeing each other, the two MomTokers sit down in the first episode ofThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesto air grievances.

Early in the episode, Leavitt explains the initial draw of the MomTok group and how her association with them made her look like she and husband Conner Leavitt might also be swinging.

“After I had my first child, I had this, ‘Is this my life now? Am I just a mom?’ Which i’m not saying is a bad thing but I didn’t want it to define me. Being invited to MomTok and getting together with these other women who had the same goals was refreshing and it was exciting," she recalls.

“After Taylor blew up MomTok, I think we all needed that time away from each other. We needed that space and now I’m ready. I’m back from Hawaii and I want us all to come back together. Let’s start dancing again and making some videos.”

Both Taylor and Whitney join castmateMikayla Matthewsfor lunch, where they start to talk through their issues.

Whitney flat out asks Taylor why she posted the video exposing MomTok soft-swingers, explaining that the video made it hard to trust her.

“I felt betrayed. Genuinely was like, ‘I don’t feel safe with Taylor, I never want to make a video with Taylor again.’ I still don’t really trust you,” she levels.

“I don’t trust you with telling certain things because I don’t know what you’re going to do with that information. Are you going to blast it on the internet? It’s very IDGAF energy and I don’t feel safe with you.”

Taylor replies, “I’m not apologizing about my post. It’s not that I don’t care about people. It’s more like what the people think online, right? I knew it was going to be hyped controversy. I just knew it would.”

Mikayla notes that people were getting picked apart and it felt like “Taylor’s trying to drag everyone down with her.”

Taylor points out that while people were coming at her about “ruining their lives,” plenty of the women of MomTok also posted jokes referring to the situation.

In a confessional, she explains how the behaviors didn’t match and posed the question, “Did I ruin your life or did I help your life?”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesis currently streaming on Hulu.
