Whitney Leavittthought the news out of the MomTok meetup couldn’t get any crazier than hers.

In an episode ofThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the influencer gathers the ladies to share news about struggles in her marriage to Conner Leavitt. While she was expecting support from her castmates, she wasn’t expecting that her big news would be upstaged.

“I’m super overwhelmed with everything. Yeah, I’ve been pregnant for, like, I would say, four weeks,” she begins.

When someone starts to say, “Shut up,” and she’s met with gasps, Taylor cuts them off and says, “It’s not good.”

According tothe Mayo Clinic, in an ectopic pregnancy, the fertilized egg attaches itself somewhere outside the uterus, oftentimes to the inside of a fallopian tube. An ectopic pregnancy can’t proceed normally, as the fertilized egg can’t survive.

“It’s been like, depressing,” Taylor concludes.

In the scene, Whitney looks wide-eyed and shocked like many of the other women. In a confessional she says, “What the actual f—, Taylor? What are you doing? Immediately after sharing this trauma that’s happening to me, you talk about something traumatic that’s going on in your life?”

“I don’t have that kind of relationship with her. We’ve cultivated this relationship online, but we don’t have one in real life,” Whitney continues. “And I don’t even think she’d care. The whole time I’ve known her, it’s always been give, give, give. It’s never been reciprocated. I’m just kind of like, why am I still giving? Why am I still supporting? Why am I still entertaining this relationship when there’s nothing even there?”

Later in the episode, Whitney adds: “Online, it looks like we’re all the bestest of friends, but we’re not. All she cares about is herself, I genuinely feel that way.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesis now available to stream on Hulu.
