Josh Lucashas found a lifelong partner in his fiancée, Brianna Ruffalo.

The actor, who has starred as a young John Dutton inYellowstone, met reporter and meteorologist Ruffalo in 2022. After almost two years of dating,the couple were engagedin Italy in June 2024.

“For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole,” Lucas wrote in the caption of hispostannouncing the happy news.

Prior to Ruffalo, Lucas was married to Jessica Henriquez before splitting in 2014. Theywelcomed a son, Noah Rev, together in June 2012.

She is from Los Angeles

According to her Instagram bio, Ruffalo grew up in L.A. as the daughter of a police officer. She was raised in an “Italian Greek” family, and left L.A. for the South when she went to school at Mississippi State University to earn a certificate in meteorology.

“Being in school while working full time on morning show shifts was tiring and took up a large portion of free time (and sanity, thanks in part to thermodynamics),” Ruffalo wrote onFacebookin February 2022 after earning her certificate. “It feels extremely rewarding to have this after plugging along through sleep deprivation and alllll of life’s curveballs it’s thrown in recent years!”

She is a meteorologist

Ruffalo is a meteorologist and reporter for ABC7 in L.A. She previously worked at ABC30 in Fresno, Calif., before moving to her current role in March 2017, per herbio. Prior to her role at ABC, Ruffalo worked as a special projects producer at KTLA where she was nominated for an Emmy Award.

While she was at KTLA, Ruffalo covered investigative, health and finance stories, and co-produced shows for Tribune Broadcasting. One of her projects was the channel’s first documentary in 2016, where she spent time in Missouri covering current veteran issues.

They met in 2022 and got engaged two years later

Lucas and Ruffalo first began dating in 2022 while the actor was shootingPalm Royale. Two years later, on June 29, 2024, Lucas announced his engagement to the reporter with an adorable video of the bride-to-be showing off her ring.

The proposal appears to have taken place in Italy, as Ruffalo had beenposting photosthat week from her time in the country with Lucas, writing that she was exploring her Italian roots.

“Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life.. and we knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we’ve never experienced- on every level,” she wrote onInstagramfollowing their engagement. “This was the easiest and best question I’ve ever answered.”

Ruffalo and Lucas have traveled often

Ruffalo and Lucas have gone on a number of trips together in destinations across the globe. Before Lucas proposed, the couple enjoyed a vacation in Italy, traveling across the south side of the country.

In February 2024, Ruffalo and Lucas enjoyed another trip to Mexico after previously visiting the country. Alongsidesweet photosof kisses on beaches and stunning views, Ruffalo joked that they were “probably not returning home.”
