The TikTok creator’s family announced her death on April 15, 2024. Four months later, hercause of death was revealedto be from cardiac arrhythmia — or an irregular heartbeat — from myocardial fibrosis, or the scarring of heart tissue, perTMZ.

“My sister Kyle Marisa passed away last week,” Kyle’s sister, Lindsay Roth, wrote alongside a photo of the TikToker onInstagramat the time. “As a family we are still processing and deciding how to properly celebrate and honor her life. we don’t know [what] happened yet.”

Roth gained traction on TikTok for posting blind items about celebrities and sharing her often strong and controversial opinions on celebrity drama. She was known for her catchphrase, “You want more? I’ll give you more.”

Before her death, Roth had accumulated over 200,000 followers on TikTok where she mainly posted videos about celebrities. She shared blind items, which were rumors about specific people from anonymous sources.

The gossip ranged from celebrities having affairs with one another to digs at and speculations about their career moves. While she shared the messages she received, she didn’t always agree with them.

“I have f—— decades of blind items with thousands of costars that have been married and engaged and have [affairs],” she said in anApril 2024 video.

She went to Lehigh University for college

Before Roth found a career in social media, she attended college at Lehigh University where she played for the school’s lacrosse team.

“I’ve always known about Lehigh because my dad swam here,” she said inher player bioon the school’s site. “What originally drew me to Lehigh was its great academic reputation, then I learned that a new coaching staff was hired and they and were looking to build a top Division I lacrosse program.”

She previously had cancer

Roth had previously spoken about her health throughout her life, including being a colon cancer survivor, per apost she wrote on X.

In February 2024, the content creator was open about her health history, sharing some photos of scars from her past surgeries on herInstagram.

“3 major abdominal surgeries. 1 reconstructive shoulder surgery. Over a dozen broken bones,” she wrote in the caption. “One torn meniscus. Several car accidents. Even more concussions. Collegiate lacrosse. Soccer at elementary school recess. 3 missing internal organs. BUT LOTS OF BAD ASS F—— SCARS.”

Her TikTok account got banned a month before she died

On March 25, Rothshared on TikTokthat her main account got banned and she asked her followers to file a complaint with the company so it could be unbanned. She added that her TikTok was her main source of income, and without it, she would not be able to make her rent.

“I need everyone’s help, this is an emergency, please,” she said in the video. “It’s about to be the end of the month and this is my first month remonetized and I literally need this account in order to pay my rent because I’m so f—–.”

Her last post was the same week she died

Roth typically posted multiple TikTok videos a day and her last few were on April 7, 2024. In herlast video, she joked about the 2023 celebrity reality showSpecial Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

“Do you guys remember when Jojo Siwa and Tom Sandoval were on that reality show together? I can tell,” she said.

Roth’s mother, Jacquie Cohen Roth, announced on April 15 on herLinkedInthat her daughter had died.

“My daughter Kyle has passed away. She touched some of your lives personally and some of your lives via her immense life on another platform,” she wrote.

Roth’s sister also shared the tragic news on social media alongside a photo of Roth with her dog Hamilton.

“i know she touched so many people with her humor, intelligence, beauty, gossip activism, athleticism and more - she had so many gifts,” she wrote in the caption. “if anyone wants to connect about Kyle, im here to talk and share memories.”

“I know I never met Kyle in real life, but I really felt like I knew her. I’m so devastated and have been crying ever since the news leaked on TikTok,” she wrote. “I really hope she did it [sic] suffer and I hope she knew how much she touched our lives.”
